This is a story that many will be able to relate to in the sense that it is particular to social issues hitting our young adults every day. This story begins as an innocent form of bullying. Yes I hate to admit it but in todays form bullying is more prevalent. Older teenage girls feel that it is ok bully

using social media because the have this ambiguity. But what seems like a cut and dry case of bullying is clearly not exactly what is happening. What I love here, is that Kristi has the ability to bring this issue to the forefront and to dig into a deep root of this behavior. Courtney was a high school senior who was easily influanced by her so called best friend and head cheerleader, Whitney.

After her debt was paid to society Courtney feels she must pay additional penance, but how far is she willing to go to pay this off. There was always more to Courtney, than what she allowed her fellow classmates to see, yet she was afraid to let her true self shine. Now fast forward after she has paid her public sentence, a private penance but be paid. How far is she willing to go? Can she let completely go and help heal her victims brother while finding a way to heal her self? What lays in front of her is not an easy battle but one she must decide if she is ready to face . Maybe just maybe she will her admittance to love the unlovable heal a broken heart and soul while mending her sorrow too.
