Review - 5 Unbelievable Life Accepting Finding your Home Stars

I do not know to express this enough! This I hope is the best sleeper book of the New Year!!!
I have read a lot.  I read all romance genres and this book is so much more!!! This is not your typical M/M erotic book. This is a true romance story. I felt every emotion that these characters exhibited throughout out the story.

Dax, is a vet returning him from service overseas. He is used to structure and control in his life that the military expects. Returning home is not a happy event. Dax's family is over the moon to have their youngest son home from active service. They are so proud of him. Returning to civil life scares the crap out of Dax, he is used the military life as a way to escape life.  Here he could be come obscure and just be one of the other men. He would not stick out for being different. Here he can fall in line with everyone else and just be.

Beck, is a partial owner in a Tattoo Shop. He is a gentle soul who is just trying to do the right thing and take care of his family. Beck takes on the responsibility at a young age to be the caregiver for his younger sister when their mother decided that drugs and sex where more important to her.  Now as an adult Beck is struggling to stop his sister from falling into the same path that their mother fell into.

Both men have put their needs aside for finding what makes them happy and focused on taking care of others.

When a chance meeting throws the two together there is a spark of interest that they both find in each other, but both are too proud to let the other know or to see if if there is a reaction.

Both men have never had a chance at a real relationship. Both are so scared to admit a possible attraction to each other. There is a beautiful innocence that both exhibit because they have never really attempted a full on relationship. The have had flings and intimacy but nothing that ever lasted.

Together these two must admit that life is difficult, has many challenges and is not easy. But can they look past all that they has been through, and realize that love can withstand. Are Dax and Beck willing to give into their feelings and give love a chance?

This a beautiful story of overcoming ones obstacles to rally, find out what matters and in what a family really means to each other.

Melissa Collins has always been a book worm. Studying Literature in college ensured that her nose was always stuck in a book. She followed her passion for reading to the most logical career choice: English teacher. Her hope was to share her passion for reading and the escapism of books to her students. Having spent more than a decade in front of a classroom, she can easily say that it’s been a dream. Her passion for writing didn’t start until more recently. When she was home on maternity leave in early 2012, she read her first romance novel and her head filled with the passion, angst and laughter of the characters who she read about it. It wasn’t long before characters of her own took shape in her mind. Their lives took over Melissa’s brain and The Love Series was born.
